What Is a Mental Health Care Plan?

What It Does
An MHCP documents your mental health concerns, sets treatment goals, and refers you to a psychologist — entitling you to up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions per year.

How to Get One
Book a longer GP appointment and let reception know it's for a Mental Health Care Plan. There's no cost for this GP appointment if you're bulk billed.
