Faster Results
Many patients notice improved energy within 1–4 weeks of their infusion.
Nurse-Supervised
Our nursing team monitors you throughout the infusion for comfort and safety.
No Gut Side Effects
Bypasses the digestive system entirely, avoiding the nausea and constipation common with iron tablets.
GP-Assessed First
Your GP confirms eligibility using your blood results before any infusion is scheduled.
Why Iron Tablets May Not Be Enough

The Problem With Oral Iron
Iron tablets are first-line treatment, but many patients experience constipation, nausea, and unreliable absorption — especially with gut conditions like coeliac disease or IBD.

When an Infusion Makes More Sense
An infusion bypasses the gut entirely, delivering a full therapeutic dose in a single session — faster and better tolerated for patients with absorption issues or severe deficiency.
What Your Blood Tests Show

Ferritin
The stored form of iron. A low ferritin is often the first sign of deficiency, even before haemoglobin drops.

Haemoglobin
Carries oxygen in red blood cells. A low level confirms iron deficiency anaemia — where symptoms become significant.

Transferrin Saturation
Confirms whether your body is getting enough iron to function properly, alongside ferritin.

• Women with heavy menstrual bleeding causing ongoing iron loss
• Patients with chronic kidney disease-related anaemia
• Pregnant women with significant iron deficiency
• Pre-operative patients needing iron levels optimised quickly

• In-house IV iron infusion administered by our nursing team
• Ongoing monitoring throughout the infusion for safety and comfort
• Follow-up blood tests to confirm improvement
• Coordination with your GP for any underlying cause of deficiency

STEP 4
Follow-Up Blood Tests
After 4–6 weeks, your GP orders follow-up tests to confirm improvement and discuss next steps.
STEP 3
Nurse-Supervised Infusion
A small IV line is placed and the iron solution administered slowly, with monitoring throughout.
STEP 1
GP Assessment First
See your GP to review your blood results and confirm you're a suitable candidate.
STEP 2
