• Commercial driver medicals
• Return-to-work assessments
• Forklift, machinery and safety-sensitive role medicals
• Employer-requested medical reports
• Uber medicals

Patients who do not have a Medicare card will need to pay a private consultation fee. Please check with reception before your appointment.

WorkCover Consultations
Work-related injury consultations are billed to WorkCover Queensland or the relevant workers’ compensation insurance company, where an approved claim has been provided.

Flagstone Family Practice – Proud Participants in the Bulk Billing Incentive Program

At Flagstone Family Practice, we are committed to making high-quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all members of our community. That’s why we are proud to be part of the Bulk Billing Incentive Program (BBIP), an Australian Government initiative designed to support patients by reducing out-of-pocket medical costs.

2

Why We’re Proud to Be Part of the Program

At Flagstone Family Practice, we believe quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone. Participating in the Bulk Billing Incentive Program allows us to continue offering bulk billed consultations to eligible patients while reducing financial barriers to care. The program supports affordable healthcare for individuals, families, seniors, and people managing ongoing health conditions, encouraging patients to seek medical attention earlier and more regularly.

3

What This Means for Our Patients

For eligible Medicare patients, consultations are billed directly to Medicare, so there is no gap fee or need to submit a claim afterwards. While some procedures, forms, specialised treatments, or other non-Medicare services may still incur a fee, eligible consultations remain bulk billed in line with Medicare guidelines. This helps ensure accessible, convenient, and affordable healthcare whenever you need to see your GP.

What is the Bulk Billing Incentive Program?

The Bulk Billing Incentive Program helps medical practices continue providing affordable healthcare by supporting clinics that bulk bill a high proportion of eligible patients. For Medicare card holders, eligible consultations are billed directly to Medicare, meaning there is no out-of-pocket consultation fee. The additional incentive paid to participating practices helps make bulk billing sustainable while improving access to essential healthcare services across Australia.
