Immunisations
Flagstone Family Practice offers a full range of vaccinations for children, adults, and travellers. Vaccines are administered by our nursing team and are bulk billed for eligible patients on the National Immunisation Program (NIP).

Childhood Vaccinations
Birth to 6 Months
Hepatitis B at birth, followed by DTPa, Hib, polio, rotavirus, and pneumococcal at 6–8 weeks, 4 months, and 6 months.
12 Months to 4 Years
MMR, meningococcal, varicella, and Hep A at 12–18 months. DTPa and MMR booster at 4 years.
School Age and Teens
Year 7 school program includes HPV (2 doses), dTpa booster, and meningococcal ACWY.
Adult and Travel Vaccinations
Adult Vaccinations
Annual flu vaccine, COVID-19 boosters, pneumococcal (65+), shingles (70–79, free on NIP), tetanus and diphtheria booster every 10 years, and HPV for adults outside the school program.
Travelling Soon?
Book a travel health consultation at least 6–8 weeks before departure. We advise on typhoid, Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, and rabies. Note: travel vaccines are a private fee and are not covered by Medicare.
What is Immunisations?
Immunisation is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your family from serious infectious diseases. Vaccines work by training your immune system to recognise and fight specific infections. Australia has a well-established National Immunisation Program (NIP) that provides free vaccines at scheduled intervals from birth through to older adulthood. Our nurses administer all scheduled vaccines on-site, with GP support available for any questions or reactions.
