Meet Dr Kal

Dr Kal graduated in 2002 and completed his General Practice training in Scotland, United Kingdom. He worked as a GP in Glasgow until relocating to Australia in 2017. With extensive international experience in primary care, Dr Kal is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

While he enjoys all aspects of General Practice, his particular passion lies in Diabetes Management and Preventative Health. He was the Practice Lead for the Diabetes Remission Clinical Trial (DiRECT Trial) conducted by the University of Newcastle and the University of Glasgow, reflecting his strong interest in evidence-based chronic disease care.

Outside of medicine, Dr Kal is driven by the opportunity to improve health outcomes and support patients in achieving long-term wellbeing.
