About Our Practice

Your First Visit

During your initial visit, the doctor will explain the specific test or procedure or treatment, help you visualize any test results and go over the risks. The doctor may do a physical examination and ask you a bunch of questions. Once you  have had any ordered tests done, the doctor will analyze the results and on the next consultation will decide what your diagnosis and appropriate treatment and plan of action.

Flagstone Family Practice has an appointment system. We are proud to say that Appointments can be made in person, over the phone or online via our Website. Walk-ins are welcome, however, please be aware wait times may vary. Same day appointments are available for urgent cases. A separate appointment must be made for each family member. We are currently using Hotdoc appointment system for online booking.

Results and Recalls

All results are viewed by Clinical Staff. We operate a recall and reminder system. Any tests ordered by the Practice requires a follow-up appointment to discuss the results and plan further treatment. In adherence with our Privacy Policy Results will not be given over the phone .

To obtain results you must make an appointment to see your doctor.
A practice staff member may contact you to advise you that your results have returned and the doctor requires you to attend for the results. As part of our commitment to preventative health, patients may receive letters to remind them they are due to attend the surgery for a follow up appointment.

Billing and Payment

Flagstone Family Practice is a Mixed Billing Practice.
